Heading south to Texas! We took the opportunity to enjoy some cooler temps by stopping in the Ozark Mountains first at Buffalo Point on the Buffalo River then at Mount Magazine State Park, the highest point in Arkansas. We took the short hike up to the top, it was considerably cooler at 2753 feet elevation! Also we’ve been enjoying summertime farm stands along the way stopping for melons, tomatoes, and various other veggies. But they don’t begin to compare with the pictures we’re getting from Landy & Julie’s garden! Now it’s on to Texas where we are so excited about Lily’s upcoming arrival into the world!

Yeah, the cantaloupes look delicious. My garden is about done. Heat is killing it But still getting peas and some okra
