Usually when we come up to New York in the winter we have an abundance of snow. We were starting to wonder if we were going to have any when it finally came. We had several nice days of beautiful snowfalls, enough that the boys got to get out and do a little sledding, and we got to take our traditional snowy walk in the woods. We even got to build a snowman this time! Usually the snow is too powdery but late one evening near the end of our trip we got a good wet snow and David and Landy and a couple of tipples of whiskey got out and built an impressive guy! We also had a day of frozen precipitation which made for some beautiful photos!

Landy, Julie, David, & I walked to the top of the hill one last time, one of our traditions. It was a great visit but it’s time for the K2R2 to move South again. We’ll miss everyone and can’t wait to return!

Glad the snow came in before you all left. I expect it will take awhile for Big Frosty to melt. That is one big snowman
