Farewell to New York

What a month we had! After our side trip to the Adirondacks we returned to Landy & Julie’s and spent another week and a half with them and we really packed it in! We got to see the end of the school year play, Vinny’s graduation from Kindergarten, the last day of school, went to Papa Jacks for ice cream, got to sample some of the first offerings from the garden, picked literally thousands of strawberries and helped with freeze drying some for snacks. We played lots more games, did chalk drawings, made birds nests, David helped Landy finish the grapevine trellis, went out in the canoe on the lake and fished, had lots of delicious meals, and the list could go on and on! In fact, Vinny & I made a list of all the things we did and it had 101 things on it. Indeed it was a wonderful visit and we were sad to go and we look so much forward to our return. But now it’s time to head south and soon it will be baby Lily time!!!!
