Another Early Holiday Celebration!

After Thanksgiving we made our usual loop through Arkansas and Tennessee to visit our mothers. Our stop on the way up from Texas was Atlanta State Park where there were still fall colors to be seen and a quiet campground to walk through.

We then stopped at Rebecca’s brother’s house for a couple of days enjoying good company, food, and did a little work on his Nova.

Tom made homemade cheese straws to enjoy during the soccer game

Then it was on to Memphis where Rebecca had a great time making Christmas cookies with her sister and Mother. We also had a small holiday dinner to celebrate the upcoming season!

Pecan Turtle Bars and Chocolate covered cherry mice!
Thumbprint cookies!
Bakewell Tart!
Pork Tenderloin with cherry glaze reduction, green beans Almondine, Roasted potatoes. and homemade bread!
A good time was had by all!!!
