A Snake, Deer, Turkey, & Early Christmas

We spent about 10 days at Leah’s around Thanksgiving and it was quite the time!!

David and Zach went deer hunting and each contributed to meat for the freezer.

David and Zach also worked on enticing in those pesky hogs making a pig pipe to put out in the field but unfortunately they didn’t put any bacon in the fridge.

David had a close encounter with a rattlesnake but his snake tools came in handy and he successfully got it “bagged” and in the freezer complete with its head, it had a dozen rattles!

Lily officially took off walking and was quite proud of herself, she was really cute!

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with friends and family complete with 2 fried turkeys and all the trimmings!

After Thanksgiving Leah and Kiki decorated a Christmas tree as a surprise for the kids and we gave out our gifts early. The magic of the season was clearly already on their minds and we enjoyed watching their happy excitement!
