The day prior to our return to Landy and Julie’s house, we stopped by one of the Tree House Brewery locations to pick up some beer we had ordered to go earlier that morning. The Tree House folks have used expertly crafted marketing to recreate the Coors Beer Mystic of the very early 1970’s on a much grander and lucrative scale. When you think of brewery tasting and tours think bigger…much bigger. Think Orlando, Florida bigger. An adult Disney World brewery bigger!

From pick up to tap room it is like your first time on “It’s a small world” or “Space Mountain” rides. And just like Disney World the tourists don’t even flinch while the Benjamins are lifted from their wallets. The difference is in the slickness of the packaging, the knowledgeable staff, excellent $20.00 giant wood fired oven pizzas, and the avant-garde airily decorated atrium where the tap room is located.

Six and one half cases, two beer glasses, one sticker, one giant margarita pizza, and two mugs of beer later we left with big smiles in what was the perfect ending to our great north woods adventure.

Goodness gracious. Yes, I think they know what they are doing at that brewery. That seems to be quite a place. And the pizza looks delicious too. Glad you all had a wonderful North Woods trip
That is an amazing collection of beer, and the pizza looks fantastic. I did one of these craft brewery tasting adventures in North Carolina with a friend; my favorite was one that had been aged in bourbon barrels by Sierra Nevada; I think each bottle was over $20 (the Bourbon aged bottles).
You are right, I think that anytime beer is aged in bourbon barrels the results are amazing!
