San Marcos Snowpocalypse!

We were scheduled to be at Lindy & Jason’s for a long weekend but that turned into a whole week due to the 3 snowfalls, freezing drizzle, and bitter cold temps that gripped Texas. Despite the rolling blackouts, lack of running water at times, and no internet we were resourceful and made it through. We managed to go through quite a few games from the game closet, multiple rounds of magna-tiles, numerous books, several showings of Madagascar, and lots of clothing by making sojourns out into the snowy landscape. We had a lot of fun with the kids, Lindy & Jason produced some delicious fare (thanks to the gas stove) and we had some toasty warm fires. After a week K2R2 crawled out of the driveway and we headed west.

Toasty, warm fires went all day!
