Ricky, Lucy, Fred and Ethel way out west (Part 10)

When we departed Guadalupe National Park the atmospheric conditions were an appropriate punctuation to an incredible adventure. The fog rolled into the park and the clouds wrapped themselves around Guadalupe peak probably just before the first hikers were summiting.

Stopping for the night in Llano River State Park we did a bit of bird watching at their great blinds. Then we went for one last quick hike down to the South Llano River the next morning before striking out for the Krazy K by the Bay. We were thankful for all the wonderful things that had happened on our quest, but the greatest thanksgiving was for our safe return.
