North to New York (Part 5)

The arrival at Landy and Julie’s was just a few minutes before Vinny and Trenton’s bus came up the hill disgorging the happy pair. We immediately started reaping the culinary benefits that pour forth from Julie’s Cucina.

The guys piled off the bus and the tempo picked up! We built puzzles, chalked the K2R2, played darts, Scrabble, had a Paka Battle, did some light block building and the associated destruction thereof, played several hands of solitaire, read books all before bedtime.

The next day after the school bus left the adults went shopping and had lunch. Back at home we had time for a quick nap before the boys got home and the action picked up again. So, we built puzzles, chalked the driveway, played darts, Scrabble, had a Paka Battle, did some light block building and the associated destruction thereof, played several hands of solitaire, read books all before bedtime.

And it was morning and evening the first day!
