After 9 nights in Baxter we were ready for a little pampering as we checked into the Moosehead Lodge on Moosehead Lake and appropriately we were in the “Moose” room. We luxuriated in a hot shower and enjoyed a 5 course chef’s tasting menu followed by a hearty breakfast the next morning before departing the wild north woods of Maine.
