Mark Twain National Forest

We enjoyed a quiet camping experience in the forest at Greer Crossing Campground. The campground is a popular put-in and take-out point for canoeing on the 11- Point River, a truly wild and scenic river. We had not canoed in several years but we decided to venture out for a segment on the river. We were the only ones on the river except for 2 lone fishermen.

Our campsite was surrounded by yellow wildflowers
