Badlands National Park

The rugged dramatic beauty of the Badlands is a sight to behold with its towering spires, steep canyons, and layered rock formations. Different times of the day bring forth a wide variety of color palettes that any artist strives to recreate. It is also home to one of the richest fossil beds in the world and even today the rugged landscape is home to bison, black footed ferrets, bighorn sheep, prairie dogs, and numerous bird species.
