Whenever we travel to New York in the winter I’m always happy and excited when it snows. I certainly wasn’t disappointed when a 12 plus inch snow fell followed by days of additional snow that brought the total up to about 15 inches. It was bitterly cold which made getting outside difficult but we did get out for sledding, making a snowman and snow angels, and walks in the snowy woods.

A snow like that here in Memphis would cripple the city. Up there they are just used to it. School still open up there. They close them here at just the mention of possible snow
