Leaving New York we headed south through Pennsylvania and stopped for the night in Maryland at New Germany State Park. We had a late afternoon rain shower that cooled everything down in the forest and made for a beautiful sunset with pink tinged clouds.
Heading out the next morning we drove on in to West Virginia stopping by the smallest church in the lower 48 states along with the smallest mailing office.
Our resting spot for the next night would be Tea Creek campground in the Monongahela National Forest.
