Adirondack Mountains

The Adirondack Mountain Park covers over over 6 million acres and is filled with lush forests, ponds and lakes galore, mountain peaks, charming communities with quaint ways, and an abundance of wildlife including bears, moose, otters, beavers, and birds. Summer is short and sweet here with the season really only lasting about 2 months. We decided to take a loop trip through the heart of the region and we can tell this is a place we will need to return to, there is just so much to see and do.

Our first stop on our loop tour was Higley Flow State park where David fished and caught a few small fish.

Landy & Julie sent us off with fresh lettuce from their garden so we had a delicious salad!

We continued on next to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake where we saw otters, took a treetop walk in the forest, and enjoyed forest music among modern art sculptures in the woods.
